Bellefontaine Grace Church (BGC) is a church in the center of Logan County. God has done an amazing work in and through this ministry as BGC continues to grow in maturity and size. Though we are excited to see where we are currently, it is always wise to remember our history. Bellefontaine Grace is a church plant of Marysville Grace. A few years ago, the Pastors, Elders, and Missions team of Marysville Grace were led to multiply. They began praying about when and where Marysville Grace could further reach out to the area surrounding Union County.

In 2014, it became clear that God was opening doors in Bellefontaine to plant a new church. The purpose of this church was to be light, not to replace or compete with other churches.

In 2015, Grace Groups began to meet and continued to grow.

In September of 2016, BGC began meeting for regular worship services under the leadership of Daniel O'Kane (Pastor). Though still small in size BGC began a pastoral training program and hired their first pastoral resident, Ethan Bunce.

In 2017, the church moved locations to the High Point Career Center and continued to grow in maturity and size. Today, we stand as a church that is called to be light in darkness. With growth has come more opportunity to be that light and train more leaders.

In August of 2019, Ethan Bunce was hired as a pastor on staff and Nick Mazza became the new pastoral resident. Looking to the future, we (BGC) have the desire to follow the model shown to us. We seek to follow God’s leading in training up next generation leaders and planting churches for the glory of God.

Bellefontaine Grace is a member of the Charis Fellowship, a voluntary association of more than 260 congregations in the United States and Canada. Worldwide, the fellowship  includes more than 2,700 congregations serving approximately 750,000 people. Each church in the Charis Fellowship is governed autonomously while maintaining a commitment to the principles of the Bible as developed through roots in the Pietist and Anabaptist movements of Germany. Previously known as Fellowship of Grace Brethren Churches.
